Life throws us all many challenges, with varying complexities. It is how we respond and grow from adversities that help to define and refine who we are.
With Corinne's early background in psychology and education, and later on seeking to become a master life coach, she offers a wide variety of coaching for people of all ages. What started out as a desire to work on herself, has developed into an intense passion for helping others to identify their own blockages preventing them from achieving their goals (whether those are short or longer term goals). She loves empowering others on their individual journey, to help them ascend towards the goals they have set for themselves. She offers a variety of opportunities including coaching on:
Resiliency - bite size steps to move life forward when feeling stuck. This coaching may be related to life experiences getting in the way of moving life forward, or for those who are challenged by a learning difference.
Executive Functioning (time/task management)- offered for both adults and middle/high school students
Personal Boundaries & Effective Communication
Social Emotional Awareness & Expression
Academic Intervention Instruction (Reading, Writing, Math)- offered for grades 2-10 only
About the founder: Corinne holds a degree in psychology; a Masters in Education, is a National Board Certified Teacher (Disability Specialist), as well as is a certified master life coach. She specializes in trauma informed practices, resilience/productivity coaching and helping each client to find what fulfills their greater purpose. She has over nine years experience as a crisis intervention trainer, and has taken (as well as offered) extensive social emotional trainings on a variety of topics all over the Pacific Northwest. She was a certified PK-21 teacher for fifteen years before retiring and starting her first company.
Her company name, Empowered Ascendance, came out of a deep passion for empowering others to rise above the adversities they may face in life. This is an opportunity for each client to identify areas that they wish to change, and then help them to identify steps needed to get there and scaffolded support plans. Corinne's unique life experiences, and continued work through her own adversities, optimize her ability to understand and help others from the perspective of somebody who has gone through many challenges and personally risen through them.
She wants every person who works with her to feel empowered, move their lives forward (ascending) in the best possible way to help them meet their personal goals and live their best life.
This coaching program is designed to give individuals better understanding of what blockages may be getting in their way, provide a variety of strategies tailored to each clients needs and abilities, and help them feel empowered in making choices that move their life forward in the best possible way. It is designed to provide education and practice for healthy, proactive strategies that empower each participant individually. This is not a replacement for mental health therapy.
